MCN stands for Modern Cloth Nappies. EZPZ Baby Nappies are so easy to use. They have a double row of snaps and an adjustable rise to make it easy to adjust to fit your baby. They will fit most children from approximately 6 weeks until toilet training.
The outside of the nappy is made of PUL. This is the waterproof part of the nappy. This helps to keep the outside of the nappy dry and stop leaks.
The inside is lined with micro fleece which is a stay dry fabric. Because it is not a natural fabric it does not absorb any moisture. This means that when used as the layer next to the baby’s skin the moisture passes straight through into the absorbant part of the nappy, and away from baby’s bottom. This helps to keep baby’s bottom dry.
Each nappy comes with one micro fibre insert. The insert is the absorbant part of the nappy and is placed in a pocket in between the PUL and micro fleece. We have found the micro fibre particularly good but you could also use your old flat cotton nappies.
The great thing about pocket nappies is that you can add extra inserts for added absorbancy. At night I would recommend using an extra insert made of hemp.
These nappies are very easy to care for. They require no soaking. They are fast drying and best of all they will save you a lot of money over time.
Research has shown that by the time our babies are 75 years old their nappies may not have even started to decompose. Just by using one reusable nappy a day means there is one less to throw away.
